Pasta & Lump Crab Meat with Herb Butter Sauce

  • 1/2 pound jumbo lump crab meat
  • 3 Tbs butter
  • 1/8 cup diced red onion
  • clove or more minced garlic
  • FRESH herbs (oregano and/or thyme, parsley), 1/8 cup chopped
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup chicken or veggie stock
  • hard Italian cheese, couple of tablespoons
  • salt/pepper
  • splash of olive oil
  • pinch of Old Bay seasoning
  • aldente par-boiled angel hair pasta

Sautee onion and garlic butter and oil, add wine and stock, and heat until slightly thickened, add herbs and crab meat, season to taste. Toss gently until crab meat heated. Remove from heat and toss with pasta and grated cheese. Garnish pinch of Old Bay seasoning.
